Nathan and I were invited to the Elks Lodge in Idaho Springs for their annual Veterans Dinner. I handed out awards for teacher, firefighter, EMT and policeman of the year. We enjoyed meeting all of the nice folks in Idaho Springs and saluting our vets.

With future Miss Colorado, Emma, and her dad Bart Sander. It's been a tradition for Emma and her dad to get a photo with the reigning Mrs. Colorado at the Veterans Dinner for the last several years.
