Mrs. Northern Colorado, Jody Brown, hosted a wonderful event at the Longmont Boys and Girls Club through American Girl. The event was for young girls about how to handle "bullying".
It was a wonderful turnout with over 20 young girls who shared there stories of bullying and how they handled it.
I was honored to sign autographs and speak to the girls about having the courage to "speak up" about bullying and to encourage them to stand up for themselves.
It is always great when I can bring along my daughter, Lila, especially when a powerful message is to learn!
