This past Friday I was a special guest at the Ladies
Auxiliary VFW Adopt-a-Unit Dinner in Golden. I had a great time meeting some of our vets from Colorado as well as New Jersey.
Addressing the audience about my experiences as a military spouse and the Mrs. Colorado organization.
My favorite picture from the whole night comes from my new buddy that asked me at least 5 times, "Are you REALLY Mrs. Colorado? Is that crown heavy?". So of course I had to let him try it on :)
