The Center on Domestic Violence celebrated it's 10th Anniversary this year. On October 20th, I had the pleasure of meeting some of Colorado's finest at the center's anniversary celebration. The multi-media event took place at the Colorado Convention Center's Wells Fargo Theatre. Guests enjoyed a Silent Auction, Reception, and Theatre Program benefitting the Center on Domestic Violence's fundraising efforts. The evening was built around a theatrical performance designed to leave the audience with a glimpse into the emotional and physical turmoil of domestic violence. The night's event was aptly named, Behind the Mask, representing the many women, children, and men who hide the violence behind the mask they create out of their shame and fear.
