MY SUPPORT, MY FOUNDATION

In addition to “Team Colorado” my sweet family and friends arrived today. It was so exciting to get that text from my husband that they were in the lobby of the hotel.  I immediately kicked off my heels and ran to meet them.  My little boys, my handsome hubby, my dear mom, and my big sis all greeted me with huge smiles and warm heartfelt hugs.  Later that night we met up with our dear friends who flew in to support me as well. A huge “mahalo” to the Quirk family, you guys are terrific friends and so fun!

One of the many things that I have been made aware of throughout this process is the abundance of support that arises from the people who love you when you share your journey with them.  From letters to text messages, my friends, family, co-workers, pageant sisters, etc. have shown me such love and support. I am left without words, just gratitude.
