Last weekend I had the honor of attending a gala to benefit the Wild Life Experience in Parker, Colorado. This was such a classy, well organized event! Our governor, John Hickenlooper, was in attendance. He spoke about the amazing job our state has done in response to the recent flooding. He reminded all of us that there are countless people affected by the flooding, including 2000 homes lost. We must not forget our neighbors who are still struggling while being displaced. If we can help in any way, we must do so. We all have such pride and love for Colorado and the people that live here. When I heard our governor talk about the first responders, and the record time they were able to rescue, it only emphasized what a great state we live in!
