God allows us to see glimpses of His glory here on earth. It's or responsibility to not only notice them but to acknowledge the work of His hands. My last appearance before giving up my title as Mrs. Colorado 2010, I had the opportunity to acknowledge His work. The sweet girl photographed above is only 18 years old and already she has undergone TWO heart transplants. To say she is a miracle really is an understatement. At the Hearts of Fortune Heart Gala, her sweet spirit and amazing story made the night meaningful. I praise God for her life.
